Despite the passage of time, conspiracy theories regarding President Kennedy’s assassination have continued to permeate popular culture. Conflicting evidence, including reports by the doctors who treated Kennedy that fateful day, has led many to conclude Lee Harvey Oswald could not have been the lone shooter and that he must have had accomplices (Stern). Others argue the idealistic, young president made too many powerful enemies within the United States government and his assassination was an inside job (Dallek 338). Despite these theories, the most logical and well-supported conclusion is that Lee Harvey Oswald alone was responsible for President Kennedy’s death.
